Let’s Talk About Coaching

What’s Stopping You From Living Your Best Life Right Now?

I am often asked, “What is the difference between coaching and therapy or counseling?”

My experience is counseling focuses a lot on the past, but coaching is learning new tools that help you create change for the future. Plus, coaches are there to keep you accountable as you apply what you learn.

Unlike a self-help book, coaching is active. I ask the hard questions, with compassion, to help spur you on. Let’s start with the areas you want to see change in and uncover what is holding you back.

By getting to the root now, you will learn to take action in ways that transform your life. One day soon, you will feel connected and empowered to be kinder to yourself and make confident decisions.

What to Expect

It helps to know what to expect before starting something new.

I’ve found my clients see the greatest success when we meet weekly. In these sessions (in-person, virtual, or by phone), we discuss your goals and obstacles.

How long will coaching take?

I encourage people to plan for a minimum of three months. While this isn’t a requirement, I have seen the best results because it takes time to establish new habits so they become second nature.

Coaching relationships may last anywhere from 3 months to a few years. By simply being here, I know you are motivated to change. Know that if you want to keep pursuing areas of growth, I will stick with you.

What I promise as your coach

As your coach, I promise to:

  • provide a safe space to be real.
  • actively listen to you.
  • share tools with you that will help you accomplish your goals.
  • help you see things from a different perspective.
  • guide you in goal-setting.
  • hold you accountable to take steps to meet your goals.

Together we can achieve things you never dreamed of!

How will you know?

Am I the Right Coach for You?

Before Starting

I want to give everyone a chance to see if we are a good fit for working together first. We will have a complimentary consultation to discuss challenges you may be facing, goals you’d like to achieve, and answer questions about my approach and style.

What the Client Brings

People who see the best results are openminded and willing to stretch outside their comfort zone. There will be times where I ask to speak truth with compassion, and you can choose whether to receive and apply it. I am confident you can and will see the desired growth when you lean into the process.
